The Organizer provides participants with accommodation in a double room for the duration of their active participation in the Competition and covers the costs thereof.

The Organiser provides accommodation FROM 1 OCTOBER. It is possible to stay from 30 September, as well as to extend your stay after the end of your active participation in the Competition. In this case, all additional costs are covered by the participant.
Please remember that participants are responsible for their own travel and meal expenses. For those interested, the cost of a single breakfast at the hotel is PLN 60 (book directly with Holiday Inn).
EXTERNAL ACCOMPANISTS AND PERSONS ACCOMPANYING PARTICIPANTS:
The Organiser does not provide accommodation for escorts, carers and other persons accompanying participants. It is possible to book a room at your own expense for carers and escorts directly at the Holiday Inn Hotel, which has prepared a special price. If you are interested, please make your own reservation at the hotel, using the password indicated in the letter to participants.

2. Silesian Railways (pol. Koleje Śląskie) – the fastest, direct connection
The fastest way to get from the airport to the railway station in Dąbrowa Górnicza is by train. The journey takes about 55 minutes, and there are currently two or three direct trains a day. The platform at Pyrzowice Airport is located across the street, after leaving the airport grounds. (Train timetable)

3. Katowice Airport TAXI
You can use private TAXI services – the official carrier of Katowice Airport. The taxi rank is located under Terminal C. Online booking is also available.
The average cost of a taxi ride to Dąbrowa Górnicza is PLN 205. When getting into a taxi, ask to be taken to Pałac Kultury Zagłębia (Plac Wolności 1) or Hotel Holiday Inn (Aleja Róż 1A).
4. Bolt
You can use Bolt/Uber. The average cost of a Bolt ride from the airport to Dąbrowa Górnicza is approximately PLN 90. When using this option, select one of the following destinations: Pałac Kultury Zagłębia (Plac Wolności 1) or Hotel Holiday Inn (Aleja Róż 1A).

For participants arriving at the Competition with their own pianist, we have prepared three instruments at Klub Helikon (ul. Wojska Polskiego 45, 41-300 Dąbrowa Górnicza, location map).

After leaving the hotel, head to the nearest bus stop, ‘Dąbrowa Górnicza Aleja Róż’, located across the street, then choose the bus line that stops at ‘Reden Korczaka’ (Lines: 49, 28, 182, 84).
