II Spisak International Festival with co-financing!

We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Michał Spisak International Festival – organized by the Zagłębie Palace of Culture and the city of Dąbrowa Górnicza – received a grant from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the amount of PLN 77,000 as part of the “Music” program for 2022!

The 2nd Michał Spisak International Festival is a continuation of the event dedicated to the promotion of the character and work of the composer from Dąbrowa Górnicza, which has been held in the form of a competition since 2006. including, thanks to the support of the ministry, the International Festival of Michał Spisak, whose main event was the 13th International Music Competition. Michał Spisak, which, according to the assumptions, will take place in the biennial mode.

The 2nd Festival will consist of: four open-air concerts, a concert of a chamber orchestra, a music and literary evening, a symphonic concert, and a music exhibition and a city game inspired by the figure and work of Grażyna Bacewicz. The accompanying event will be a theatrical performance about Michał Spisak entitled “Teatralne Concertino”, prepared by an amateur theater company. This year’s festival “Spisak and Friends” focuses on promoting the music of Michał Spisak and contemporary composers, his friends.
