Gabrian Adriana

Violin / Romania

Adriana Gabrian is a Romanian violinist and prize winner of international competitions such as Kloster Schöntal Competition, Ohrid Pearls International Competition, and Remember Enescu Competition. She studied with Prof. Petru Munteanu and Baiba Skride at the Leopold Mozart Centre of the University of Augsburg. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras in Germany and Romania. As an orchestra member, she has worked with renowned conductors including Christian Thielemann, Riccardo Muti, Lawrence Foster, and Charles Dutoit. Her collaborations extend to leading artists such as Baiba Skride, Evgeny Konnov, Edward King, and Julien Chappot. As a recording artist, she works in collaboration with the private studio of Lennart Pieper in Munich, has recorded for Romanian National Radio, and her concerts have been streamed in countries such as Romania, Albania, Italy, and others.

She plays a François-Louis Pique violin generously offered by the Thomas J.C. und Angelika Matzen Stiftung.
