Grabiec Stefania

Violin / Poland

Stefania Grabiec is a violinist and a second-year student at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, studying under Prof. Szymon Krzeszowiec and Sulamita Ślubowska. She is a laureate of national and international violin competitions, including 1st Prize at the 17th National Contemporary Music Competition in Płock (Poland), as well as competitions in Vienna, Brussels, London, Cleveland, Poznań, Katowice and Lugano, Switzerland. She is a recipient of the 2024 KPO scholarship of the National Institute of Music and Dance in Poland.

Stefania has received accolades as soloist with the Pueblo Symphony Orchestra in Colorado (USA), playing Henryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2 in D minor (2022) and Max Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy (2025). Her collaborations in chamber music and orchestral projects in Europe and the United States include: the PRO Academy of the Hashtag Ensemble in Warsaw, New Music Orchestra in Poland (Orkiestra Muzyki Nowej), the Virtuosi of Houston Chamber Orchestra and the European Youth Orchestra Academy in Mannheim.

Stefania has also studied and performed at the Schloss Akademie in Paris and Vienna, the Zakopane Academy of Arts, the Summer Courses of New Music in Bydgoszcz, the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice, the Musica Electronica Nova 2025 Festival in Wrocław and Szalone Dni Muzyki in Warsaw.

She has performed at the NOSPR Concert and Chamber Halls, the National Philharmonic and Silesian Philharmonic, the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw, Hoag Hall and Memorial Hall in Pueblo (USA), and The Wortham Center and Brown Theater in Houston (USA).

Stefania has studied under distinguished professors: Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Eszter Haffner, Boris Garlitsky, Bartosz Bryła, Jakub Jakowicz and Andrzej Grabiec.
