Xinyu Liu learned the viola from Pro. Shen Xidi. In 2016 was admitted to the Affiliated Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Now is a junior student in Shanghai Conservatory of Music, studying with Professor Xidi Shen and Mr. Yucheng Shi.

Won the Youth Encouragement Award in the 5th Shanghai Conservatory of Music International Chamber Music Festival and Invitational Competition in 2018.
