Stompór Julia

Violin / Poland

Julia is currently studying under dr hab. Oriana Masternak at the Academy of Music in Kraków. As part of the Erasmus+ program, she studied in the violin class of Professor Ernst Kovacic and the chamber music class of Christoph Eggner at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

She is a member of the Neue Philharmonie München orchestra (2022-2023). She completed the Orchestral Academy of the NFM and performed with the NFM Orchestra under the direction of Marcin Masecki (2023).

She performed at the XIX Ensemble Festival, where she shared the stage with Tomoko Akasaka, Alexander Gebert, and Jose Gallardo (2022).

She has participated in many masterclasses, including: Bomsori Kim, Krzysztof Jakowicz, Wiesław Kwaśny, Roman Lasocki, Dominika Falger, Anna Gutowska, Sławomir Tomasik, Szymon Krzeszowiec, Agata Szymczewska, Radosław Pujanek, and Rafał Zambrzycki.

She is a four-time scholarship recipient of the Rector of the Academy of Music in Kraków (2021-2025).

She is also a scholarship holder of the research project funded by the National Science Centre as part of the SONATA BIS 13 program titled “Kraków Violin School – Origins, Idiom, Perspectives for Development” (2024-2025).

She is the concertmaster and organizer of the orchestra for the international piano duo festival “Duettissimo” (2021-2025).

  • Second Prize at the International Music Competition “Opus” (2024)
  • Third Prize at the 5th International Music Competition Małopolska (2025)
