Cello / Poland

She started learning to play cello at the age of 10 at the Edmund Kajdasz Music School in Trzebnica in Mrs. Anna Szpil’s class. In December 2016 she received a distinction in the regional auditions of the Centre for Artistic Education in Legnica.  Twice she took part in the National Cello Confrontations Zdzisława Wojciechowska in Bydgoszcz (in 2017 and 2018) each time he won a distinction.  In 2018, she began her education at the Ryszard Bukowski National School of Music in Wrocław in the cello class of Dr. Aldona Markowicz.  Her achievements include: IV Prize at the 2nd National Chamber Music Competition Wiłkomirskich, Second Place at the XXVI National Cello Confrontations Zdzisława Wojciechowska in Bydgoszcz, III Prize at the XXII International Juliusz Zarębski Music Competition, II Prize at the 44th National Bach Competition Stanisław Hajzer in Zielona Góra, distinction at the XXVIII National Cello Confrontations Zdzisława Wojciechowska in Bydgoszcz.  In the 2022/2023 school year, she was a scholarship holder of the National Children’s Fund.  Since October 2023, she has been a student of the instrumental faculty (cello) at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where she studies under PhD Urszula Marciniec-Mazur (currently the third year of education).  The cellist also took part in many concerts and festivals, including: Wrocław Summer Classics 2024 – Concert “From a duet to a sextet” in the University Philharmonic Soloist Ensemble (July 2024);  “Instinct” concert as part of the 16th Leo Festival (May 2025).
