Wang Jiale

Cello / China

Wang Jiale is currently studying cello at the Central Conservatory of Music, under the guidance of Associate Professor Sun Xiaoqi.

In 2023, as the only Chinese cellist of the year, she was nominated for the main competition of the 17th Tchaikovsky International Music Competition.

In October 2023, invited by the Shanxi Grand Theatre Orchestra to participate in the “Special Concert for the Establishment of the Shanxi Grand Theatre Orchestra”, we collaborated with the Shanxi Grand Theatre Orchestra to successfully perform the first movement of Shostakovich’s “Cello Concerto”, which was recognized by the leader of the Shanxi Grand Theatre Orchestra and received unanimous praise from the audience.

In August 2023, a solo cello concert was successfully held at the Shandong Grand Theatre, receiving unanimous praise from Shandong citizens.

In June 2023, the “Wang Jiale Cello Solo Concert” was successfully held at the Beijing Wujie Theater and received unanimous praise from the audience.

In May 2023, I was invited to participate in the art salon of “Entering Chinese and Western Classic Music” at the National Theatre, playing the cello.

In 2021, he was invited to participate in the “New Year Concert” of the Beijing Diplomatic Service Bureau and played the cello, receiving praise from people around the world.

In 2021, as a cellist and renowned conductor, Professor Lv Jia, the music director of the National Grand Theatre, was invited to participate in the recording of the “Happy Bus” program on China Central Television and received praise from all walks of life.

In 2021, he/she was nominated for the finals of the 7th Scholarship Competition of the Central Conservatory of Music.

In 2021, won the second prize in Asia Pacific ensemble at the Prokofiev International Music Awards.

In 2020, won the first prize in the 16-18 age group of the International Music Competition at the Artists Grand Prix in Bonn, Germany.

In 2020, he won first prize at the Camille Saint Saens Best Performance International Competition.

In 2019, he won first prize in ensemble at the Hummingbird International Music Competition and was invited to perform at the German Embassy in China, receiving widespread praise.

In 2018, I performed at the State Council New Year’s Gathering with the Central Conservatory of Music at the Great Hall of the People.

In 2014, participated in the 6th and 1st International Cello Competition of the Aegean Cup and won the second prize in the children’s group.

I have participated in master classes such as Troels Svane, Gavrysh Igor, Martti Rousi, Qin Liwei, and Tian Bonian.
