The 15th July was the closing date for entries to the 15th Michał Spisak International Music Competition.

Until the very last minute, we received applications not only from Poland, but also from all over the world. Young instrumentalists from 21 countries of Europe, America and Asia applied for the competition – a total of 120 applications in the specialities of violin (28 entries), viola (42 entries) and cello (50 entries).

Therefore, the Organisers have decided to cancel the preliminaries for the competition.

Currently, the applications are being verified in terms of formalities, required attachments, correctness of the submitted programme and payment of the entry fee (participants who have not paid the entry fee are requested to make an urgent payment).

On 31 July, we will officially announce the list of participants by e-mail and via the website and social media. On that day, there will also be a draw for the first letter of the surname of the participants, from which the auditions of the competition will start.

Details of the auditions, accommodation and the competition process will be communicated to participants by email in August this year.
