Yesterday, 7 October, at 5 p.m., the Final Concert in the violin category of the 15th Michał Spisak International Music Competition took place, during which we heard performances by four finalists accompanied by the Zabrze Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sławomir Chrzanowski. The event was part of the 5th Michał Spisak International Festival ‘Solo and Tutti’.

The finalists – Cheong Tin Ut, Małgorzata Kucharek, Zofia Anna Olesik and Bjørg Pas – performed one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s concertos, as required by the competition rules, before the full jury. The concert was hosted by Małgorzata Jeruzal-Kupczak.

The winners in the violin category will be announced on 10 October during the Laureates’ Concert.
