Theatre Hall of the Zagłębie Palace of Culture

A concert presenting a unique fusion of styles and performers from the world of classical and traditional music. The musical atmosphere of Polish mountain ranges with a touch of finesse and variations of classical string instrument performances. The audience will be composed of Polish and international participants and jurors of the music competition, along with other guests.

The Polish group VOŁOSI is a phenomenon on the global music scene. It was formed as a result of an unexpected meeting between traditional and contemporary artists in the heart of the Polish mountains. VOŁOSI has performed over 820 concerts worldwide. They have been guests at the most prestigious concert halls and festivals. Their concerts have been broadcast by BBC, WDR3, Polish Radio 2 and 3, Ö1, as well as the Korean station MBC. They performed at the opening gala of the most significant world music fair WOMEX, at the Stockholm Water Prize ceremony by invitation of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, at the Superbrands gala, and on the most popular Korean radio show MBC Bae Cheol-soo’s Music Camp.
