Graduated with honours from the Academy of Music in Katowice (theory of music) and cultural studies (theory of culture) at the Silesian University. Holder of scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (twice) and the Minister of Science and Higher Education. Currently, she works as an assistant in the Department of Composition and Theory of Music at her alma mater. She has participated in many national and international conferences, at home and abroad. She is the author of scientific articles and texts on music criticism and journalism. She belongs to the editorial board of the scientific journal of the Academy of Music in Katowice “Scontri”. She is active as a speaker and populariser. She has cooperated, among others, with the NOSPR, the MEAKULTURA Foundation, the “Ruch Muzyczny” magazine, the Institution for Promotion and Dissemination of Music “Silesia”, the Krystyna Bochenek Katowice City of Gardens – Institution of Culture, the Polish Radio Katowice, the Silesian Philharmonic, the Silesian Opera and Polskie Radio Chopin. She devoted her doctoral thesis to Mieczysław Wajnberg’s works using texts by Julian Tuwim.
