Tomasz Paweł Sadownik studied with Prof. S. Marciniak-Gowarzewska at the Music Academy in Katowice. In 2011 he graduated from University of Louisville where he studied with prof. Daniel Weeks. In 2012 graduated from Music Academy in Katowice, where he studied conducting with prof. Krystyna Krzyżanowska-Łoboda.
In 2015 he finished his PhD, and in 2019 he got a degree of doktor hablitiowany (DSC, assistant professor).
He is also a graduate of Univesity in Wrocław, where he studied law.
During his stay in USA he was the graduate assistant at School of Music UofL. He taught voice, operatic studies and vocal ensemble at the Music Academy in Katowice. At the moment he’s a lecturer at the University in Katowice and University WSB Merito in Chorzów.
He is the conductor of Men’s Vocal Ensemble “Calvi Cantores” and mixed Choir “Slavica Musa”, with whom he won numerous prizes at choir competitions in Poland and abroad, recorded 5 CDs of sacred and pop choral music.
He is a laureate of vocal competitions, received a few prizes for best conductor’s performance. He prepared and lead the performance of Polish premiere of Sunrise Mass by O. Gjeilo. He also performed other numerous performances of oratorio concerts, e.g. Requiem and Coronation Mass by W. A. Mozart, masterpieces of Vivaldi, Schubert and others.
