Theatrical Concertino – a theatre performance inspired by the figure of Michał Spisak
Michał Spisak is a figure from whom it is undoubtedly worth and necessary to draw inspiration. He was an outstanding composer, achieving immense success despite his illness, with which he struggled until the end of his short life. He provided substantive and financial support to young artists at the start of their musical careers. He was also remembered as an advocate of sharing art and music with the lowest group of society – the working masses, for whom he showed respect and appreciation.
This is why the idea of creating a theatrical Concertino performance inspired by the life and works of the composer from Dąbrowa Górnicza was born. The performance will be the result of several months of workshop activities of theatre and music specialists with a community of amateurs representing various social and age groups.
The play will premiere on 16 September at 6:00 p.m. on the main stage of the Zagłębie Palace of Culture.
Free tickets for the event available from 2 September.
