Celtic Triangle – A musical journey into Scotland

13 August, 5:00 p.m., Dance Circle in the Zielona Park

Together with the Celtic Triangle band, we will discover the charms of Celtic music and learn about the curiosities of Scottish culture. The band performs both traditional Scottish folk tunes and contemporary compositions, many of which were created by the band’s bagpiper Lindsay Davidson-a native Scot and the first ever musician to earn a university degree in bagpipe playing. A more competent line-up for promoting Scottish music is therefore hard to find! In addition to the fantastic sounds of the Celtic harp and Scottish bagpipes, there will be an opportunity to look at the instruments, learn about Scottish poetry and listen to extremely interesting anecdotes and stories. The improvisation of a selected musical theme from the works of Michał Spisak in a version “na szkocką nutę!” (“on a Scottish note!”) will constitute an absolute hit and at the same time a strong festival highlight.
