The 10th Michał Spisak International Music Competition in Dąbrowa Górnicza is organised by the Municipality of Dąbrowa Górnicza, Pałac Kultury Zagłębia (Zagłębie Palace of Culture) in Dąbrowa Górnicza and Akademia Muzyczna im. Karola Szymanowskiego (the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music) in Katowice, which also provides content-related supervision. The main organiser and coordinator of the Competition acting on behalf of the Municipality is the Department of Promotion, Culture and Sport at the Municipal Office in Dąbrowa Górnicza. The Competition will be held from 14 – 23 September 2016. The 2016 Competition is intended for musicians who were born after 14 September 1986. In 2016 the Competition will be held in three separate disciplines flute, trumpet, cello.
