Dear Musicians!
We would like to kindly inform you that by the decision of the Organizers, the call for applications to the 14th Michal Spisak International Music Competition has been extended until July 15, 2023.
At the same time, due to the fact that the limit of 40 applications for each instrumental specialty has not been exceeded, the Organizer does not plan to run preliminaries for this year’s competition. Therefore, it will not be required to attach audio-video recording of the performance to the application form.
Adequately to the information, the following changes have been made to the regulations in the following sections:
V REGISTRATION AND QUALIFICATION FOR THE COMPETITION:
– pt. 1 – updating the date of recruitment;
– pt. 3 – deleted
– pt. 4- updated the date of notification about the candidate’s qualifications.
– pt. 6 – the subsection on the parameters of audio-video recording was removed
To win in the competition:
– Financial prizes with a total value of PLN 90,000:
1st prize worth PLN 12,000
2nd prize worth PLN 9,000
3rd prize worth PLN 6,000
An distinction worth PLN 3,000
Prizes in the form of concerts in leading musical institutions in Poland;
Prizes in the form of sets of scores, sponsored by Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne and Euterpe;
Prizes in the form of vouchers for the purchase of instrument accessories;
and others.
Diplomas are given to all participants:
1st stage – diploma of participation
2nd stage – semi-finalist’s diploma
3rd stage – finalist’s diploma
