Ewa Biegas

Soprano, graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Laureate of many renowned national and international vocal competitions, scholarship holder of the Government of the Republic of Poland, the Government of Austria, and the Swiss Thyl-Dürr Foundation. Outstanding interpreter of the works of Polish composers. She performed at the world premiere of W. Kilar’s Missa pro pace at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York and was invited to participate in a tour of Germany as a performer of the solo part in K. Penderecki’s St. Luke Passion conducted by Antoni Wit. She has given concerts at the Wiener Kammeroper, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Colón, and many more. She is the dean of the Faculty of Vocal and Acting at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.
